As a Christian foster care agency, The Bair Foundation is making a new push to recruit foster homes in Cincinnati, Springdale and Tri-County area
Roughly 12,000 children and teens are in Ohio’s foster care system. Sadly, many of them are placed in shelters and institutional facilities because there aren’t enough families willing to open their hearts and their homes to these children. Understanding the pressing need for more, safe and nurturing homes, The Bair Foundation has recently opened an office in Cincinnati and is looking for families who genuinely care about the well-being and plight of local foster youth.
The primary objective of Bair’s recruitment effort is to attract individuals and couples with the potential to become successful, committed, well-trained foster parents. The Bair Foundation provides every foster family with exceptional around-the-clock support, pre-service and on-going training, case management, and foster parent reimbursement. Bair is dedicated to partnering with families so they can successfully meet the unique needs of every foster child or teen placed in their home.
Brandy Pendleton, foster and adoptive mom, and Intake Director for the Dayton office, has recently transferred to the Cincinnati office to oversee the operations. The first Cincinnati training will be held in the office on June 18th. The address is 260 Northland Blvd. Cincinnati, OH. If you are interested in receiving more information, attending our foster parent training, or having Brandy speak in your church, she can be reached at 513-544-2277.
